Heart of Mine
Originally a ?Get out and do something? winter project, I had intended to make a couple of small rocking chairs for the Children?s Garden portion of the Annual Landscape and Garden Event at the museum. They proved rather quickly to be a little more dangerous than I felt prudent, and I realized that I was left with two halves of a heart. These unequal halves began to lead to a metaphor of my present relationship; we had just gotten into an argument because I wanted to go out and work rather than lie in bed. I was feeling the weight of what separated us as well as the powers that held us together.
Also, for those of you that are keeping track, Mine was intended to rhyme with Dine.
